I didn't get any pics of the kids with Daniel this Father's Day because he has been working so hard. Here are a few snapshots from this summer and when Walker was born. My haven't they grown. Daniel, I just want to thank you for being such a good dad and husband. The kids adore you!!! I'm so thankful God gave you to me because without us we wouldn't have them and I can't imagine life without these precious little angels. I love you and I hope you had a GREAT FATHER'S DAY!!!

I let the kids make a cake last night. They were so excited and made a big mess but oh well they had fun!!! I didn't need my dishwasher for this bowl....they licked it clean!

Carly took swimming lessons the first week of June. She did good. I'm so proud of her. I sent mom a picture of Carly jumping off the diving board and she said it reminded her of me when I was that age. She had fun and she wasn't scared of the water and that is all that matters!!!

Our anniversary was Wednesday April 29th. We went out to eat in Jonesboro and the kids stayed with Meme and Papaw. We had a great time. I love you D-Ray and to many more together!!!

Walker loves being at the farm and driving the tractor. He is going to be a big help to his daddy in a few years. Farming is already running through his blood. Daniel is teaching the kids to say we only like GREEN tractors and when he ask what color we bleed Carly tells him GREEN!!! I'm glad my kids are growing up around farming and country life. Thank God for the South!!!

TAYLOR SWIFT CONCERT

The Taylor Swift concert was Friday night and here are some pics showing what fun we had!!! Me, Carly and Grammy went and we had a blast. Carly really enjoyed herself. She got a t-shirt and wore it at the concert. She danced and sang. Thank you Tonya Johns for getting tickets for me. You sure made my little girl HAPPY!!!

CARLY'S 1ST T-BALL GAME

Carly had her first T-ball game Thursday night. They were so cute. She hit the ball really well but when it came time for out field all she wanted to do was play in the dirt. Oh well, she is only 3years old. She is on the Food giant team and her number is 5. That was her daddy's football number when he was in high school. Isn't she cute in her little outfit!!!

What I love about Sunday is FAMILY TIME!!! We went to church then drove to Wilson to spend the day with Papa and Grammy. They cooked lunch for us. When we got there more of our family was there to eat also. The rain held off so the kids could play outside. We had a good day. God has sure blessed us and I am so thankful!!!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

We had a wonderful Easter! It was busy but fun. The kids woke to see what the Easter Bunny brought. Carly was so excited and Walker didn't care about anything but his choc choc(choc. milk). We went to church and then drove to Wilson to eat with all of my family. The kids got to hunt eggs once before the rain started. Then we drove back and had dinner with Daniel's family. God is Good!!!

FUN WEEKEND

The kids had a fun filled weekend. Friday night started with Kay Kay's b-day party at Pump It Up! The kids really enjoyed it. I'm sure Papa was worn out because they wanted him to jump and slide the whole time. We spent the weekend at Papa and Grammy's house while Daniel was turkey hunting. Mom, Carly and I surprised my grandparents at their church this morning. They were so excited. We all went to eat afterwards. Walker stayed home with Papa because he had an ear ache. Guess I will be taking him to the doctor tomorrow. We had a great weekend!!!

SPRINGBREAK!!!

For spring break we took the kids to Gulf Shores(the beach). It was me, my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her mother with all the kids. When we left Carly had pink eye, Walker had fever, Laynie Ray had double ear infections and Gavin had strep throat. We thought it would be a miserable trip but it ended up being wonderful. To see the look on Carly and Gavin's faces when they first saw the beach was all worth it!!! Walker and Laynie were not sure about it but it got much better by the last day. Here are a few pics of our GREAT TIME.

FUN IN THE SNOW!!!

We got snow!!! The kids spent the night at Papa and Grammy's house last night and they got around 12 inches or more. Daniel and I got up this morning and took their boots and gloves to them so they could enjoy the snow. Walker didn't care much for it but Carly was all about it. We built a snowman with Papa and Grammy. It was kind of homely looking but she loved it. After lunch we went to the levee in Wilson with lots of family. We slid down the levee on a little sled and a garbage can lid. Daniel rode the kids on the 4 wheeler. That was Walker's favorite part. What FUN we had!!!

Papa and Grammy took the kids skating. Carly loved it. She skated with me and mom. I had the D.J. play some of her favorite songs. Of course she loved that. She danced and sang while we skated. Daniel and Papa said they had bad ankles so they played video games with Walker. I think that was just a cop out because they were scared of breaking a body part. Walker screamed and cried when we left. He loves to play games. We had a great day!!!! Thank you Papa and Grammy.

The kids have grown so much in a little over a year. Time flies so fast. It's just like that song "You're gonna miss this and you're gonna want this back". That is so true!!! We have to remember to slow down and cherish every moment. They are only little once. Walker was only 2 weeks old in this pic and Carly wasn't even 2 years old yet.

SPORTS SHOW

We took the kids to the sports show in Jonesboro. They loved it. Carly's favorite part was climbing in the campers and telling her daddy "we need this" and Walker's favorite was all the 4 wheelers and tractors. Me and Carly caught a fish in the big trout tank. Daniel was jealous. He couldn't believe we caught one and he and Walker didn't. Here are a few pics of the kids at the petting zoo. We had lots of fun.

Walker in his big boy underwear. He wore them an hour before he had an accident. Now even when he has his diaper on he will go to the bathroom and start grunting when he needs to poo poo!!! He's trying to figure it all out. Yeah Walker!

Happy Valentine's Day! The kids had parties at school and loved all the goodies they got . This picture shows them on our way home and already into their goodies. We all had a good Valentine's Day. Mom came and spent the night with us Friday so Daniel and I could go to the movies.

ICE STORM 2009

This picture shows the tree by our back door. It is no longer there. Most of the trees in our yard look like this. I think Daniel said we are going to loose about 8 trees. We were without power for 7 days. It was kind of fun at first. Daniel heated water up on the gas grill so we could rinse off. He cooked sausage and biscuits on the grill too. After a few days it starting getting old. We had a generator but it was too hard to keep the kids in 2 rooms so we loaded up and went to my parents house in Wilson. We felt like the Beverly Hillbillies. The back of my truck was loaded down. We are glad it is over and everything is back to normal!!!
